GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR HOME DELIVERY

For the convenience of its customers, SPAR Supermarkets are offering the option of the home delivery of its products and the ability of its customers to order from home.

1. The possible methods of ordering are shown below. The methods of ordering are subject to change at the discretion of the company without prior notice.

2. SPAR supermarkets may, at their discretion, set geographical and/or other delivery limits, such as minimum order value.

3. Order placement is a customer proposal to SPAR Supermarkets. The contract is concluded only when the Customer receives confirmation of their order.

4. SPAR Supermarkets are not responsible and liable for any damage from the cancellation of orders, non-execution or delay in their execution, for any reason.

5. SPAR Supermarkets do not have any liability to any customer for any financial or other damage that may result from refusal or failure to perform, delay, or cancelation of the delivery service.

6. SPAR Supermarkets reserves the right to modify these terms without prior notice.

Ordering and Delivery Procedure

7. In all instances and method of ordering, the consumer is required to correctly and timely provide the following (at minimum) the following information: 1) Contact name and phone, 2) Order delivery address, 3) Payment method: Cash or Card and 4 ) Preferred day and delivery time.

8. The execution of any order is subject to the availability of the products.

9. The Customer has the strict and sole responsibility to submit correct information in order for their order to be completed.

10. Orders will be processed Monday through Sunday from 08:00 to 19:00

11. Orders can be delivered to addresses located within the city (Nicosia, Larnaca, Limassol).

12. The order and delivery period will be Monday through Sunday

13. Delivery orders will be fulfilled by the following day. For the Pick-up service, you will be able to collect your products on the same day provided that the order is received before 4pm. In cases where for any reason an order cannot be placed within these time frames, SPAR Supermarkets will make a reasonable effort to contact the customer in order to provide them with such information.

14. For quicker service, choose to pick up your groceries from the supermarket.

Service Fees and Payment

15. Order is paid upon delivery and can be paid by either cash or credit card.

16. All products are placed in shopping bags, the cost of which is borne by the customer

17. The delivery charge for orders depends on the distance of the delivery area.

Product Return Policy

18. The consumer has the right to return products, with a proof of purchase, within 7 days provided that the products are in their original packaging and are in excellent condition. Fresh and refrigerated products are excluded.

19. This policy does not affect your legal rights, including your right of withdrawal.

20. Any return costs are borne by the customer.

21. If the customer, at the time of delivery, wishes to return a product, may do so and the amount will be deducted from the total payment. Fresh and refrigerated products may also be returned at the time of delivery.

Processing of personal data

22. When you communicate SPAR supermarkets and/or when placing an order, we will process your personal data in accordance with the provisions of :

  • the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR 2016/679),
  • the applicable Cypriot legislation for the protection of personal data,
  • any specific national and European legislation in certain fields, the data protection of personal data and privacy in the field of electronic communications (Law 112 (I) / 2004, as the case may be) apply).
